Saw him last year and it was the first time in memory he played it in his acoustic set. Good to see it getting a bit more play time as part of this tour

Yeah he hated the message of the song and didn’t want to be the guy that’s saying those words anymore yet it has been so long since he wrote it that he could kinda sing it like someone else’s song (like he’s not the one meaning those lyrics but just singing the song cuz it sounds good)
Not sure about Assassin but he hates Your Body is a Wonderland so he rarely performs it

ForeverExcel worse. The vip is a bar area in the center of the arena. General admission surrounds that, but his set list has him walking around the entire floor. He spent most of the time on our side did about 4 songs on the other side of the arena and maybe 2 total at the center vip stage

It was great. Although I could tell he's been touring for awhile and is almost done. His set in Columbus in April was out of this world

No doubt, I'm just saying you can tell the tour grind is tough. It may also be riverbend vs the schottenstein in terms of a venue too. His set in Columbus was at least an hour longer
I thought this when I heard Helpless, but he has finally achieved full Clapton. There's some level it feels like he's been trying to hit for years now (with Wildfire coming really damn close in regard to studio work), but now it's like he can achieve it on command, especially live.
So lucky to have been there. ❤️
